polyphenolsulfone (PPSU) is produced from Radel® R resin. It is an amorphous product that offers improved chemical resistance and thermal stability over most amorphous thermoplastics. It is a type of moldable plastic often used in rapid prototyping and rapid manufacturing (direct digital manufacturing) applications, typically used in automotive and aerospace. It has virtually no melting point, due to its amorphous nature. It offers tensile strength up to 8000 psi.
